Venturepharm Laboratories (HKG:8225) announced that, as more time is required to finalise the results for the year ended 31 December 2011, its board of directors' meeting for the purpose of considering and approving the audited consolidated financial results for that year will be postponed to be held on 18 April 2012. Accordingly, there will be a delay in the publication of the annual results announcement for the year 2011.

Trading in the securities of the company on the Stock Exchange will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. on 1 April 2012, and will remain suspended until the release of an announcement relating to the publication of its annual results and dispatch of its annual report for the year ended 31 December 2011.
