China' s newest charter flight operator, AllPoints Jet Co., Ltd., ordered two Gulfstream jets from the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Tuesday to help it tap into the promising business charter market, company managers said Thursday.

The G450 and G550 jets, purchased at a cost of 100 million U.S. dollars, will be delivered to AllPoints Jet in the first quarter of 2013 and are expected to go into operation in March or April of the same year, said Hu Wenbin, general manager of AllPoints Jet.

With Chinese authorities relaxing their control on low-altitude flights, the market for business jets will be very promising, Hu said.

The hourly rental fee for a G450 or G550 jet will be at least 11,000 U.S. dollars and each jet is capable of accommodating 18 passengers, Hu said.

AllPoints Jet signed a purchase deal for the jets with Gulfstream at the 2012 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition, which is running from March 27 to 29 in Shanghai.

AllPoints Jet, established in May 2011, provides charter, management and maintenance services from the company's base at the Chengdu International Airport in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
