SAF-Holland SA, a supplier based in Luxembourg, has signed a contract to produce suspensions in China for midsize and heavy trucks.
The new order plus one in December from the same unidentified truckmaker will generate annual revenues of 23 million euros (166.9 million yuan), SAF-Holland said in a release last week.
Corpco, an SAF-Holland subsidiary in Beijing, will produce the components beginning in 2018. Corpco also makes trailer axles in Xiamen and air suspension systems for buses in Beijing.
In 2014, SAF-Holland generated global sales of 960 million euros. The company, which produces chassis components for trailers, trucks and buses, has 3,000 employees.
