China Public Procurement (HKG:1094) says that it has formed an independent board committee, which comprises all independent non-executive directors, to investigate into the transactions referred to in the subject announcements dated 18 August 2009, 8 February 2010, 18 February 2010 and 24 May 2010.
On a voluntary basis, the independent board committee has engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers to conduct an independent forensic review into such matters. The forensic review work has commenced.
Trading in the company's shares has been suspended from 10:19 a.m. on 5 July 2010.
