Market Strategies International is the 24th largest market research firm in the world, according to the "Honomichl Global Top 25," published annually in Marketing News.
The top 25 firms had revenues (research activities only) of $17.4 billion in 2009, down 3.1% from 2008. Fifteen of the top firms saw revenues decline in 2009; 10 saw revenues increase, primarily because of acquisition. The firms account for 56% of the total world revenue for marketing, advertising and public opinion research through for-profit companies.
Among the top firms, 14 are headquartered in the United States, while the balance are based in Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil and Germany.
